Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Väröbacka's zone, Bernt Sandström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Svanér came out of the goal and Bernt Sandström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bengt-Arne Pilberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stig Svanér. Väröbacka's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 10 minutes, Emil Brummer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åsele and the Väröbacka players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Emil Brummer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sverker Pihlwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Åsele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Brummer to maneuver through the defense. Stig Svanér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Berglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 played minutes Väröbacka got a freekick which was hit by Jesper Eriksson. 37 minutes into the match, Åsele's Harry Stor broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Bernt Sandström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig Svanér made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Sandström in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Joel Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsele's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Berglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig Svanér breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Berglund to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Hampus Bruse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Väröbacka's supporters rose to their feet, but Hampus Bruse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt Högman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Åsele's Harry Stor couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Väröbacka. Hampus Bruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bengt Högman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Åsele's Joel Berglund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig Svanér narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernt Sandström in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig Svanér prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Wilhelm Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bengt Högman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Bruse in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Holger Smefeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 minutes, Jesper Eriksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Väröbacka and the Åsele players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Jesper Eriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 89 minutes, Joel Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åsele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Berglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 played minutes, Åsele's Harry Stor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stig Svanér came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Åsele reached it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Åsele walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
