Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Joel Berglund started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Karl-Axel Linberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sjötorp RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Axel Linberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt Högman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Axel Linberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per-Erik Löfskog's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt Högman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Bernt Sandström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åsele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 21st minute, Bernt Sandström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kjell-Arne Helander was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Joel Berglund got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Bernt Sandström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 29 minutes, Karl-Axel Linberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sjötorp RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Axel Linberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernt Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Helander having to interfere. Joel Berglund struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Kjell-Arne Helander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsele. Sjötorp RK's Per-Erik Löfskog got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Sjötorp RK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernt Sandström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Erik Löfskog stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Lundgren hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Bengt Högman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Löfskog in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, Sjötorp RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Erik Britz to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Harry Stor in the 83rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Kjell-Arne Helander's left hand side. Bernt Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Helander having to interfere. If Bernt Sandström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Åsele's Harry Stor got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 93 played minutes Sjötorp RK got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Aleberg. Åsele's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
