After a rather tough play, Vindeln IK's Benjamin Ödman got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Jan-Erik Ambjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Håkansson having to interfere. Jan-Erik Ambjörnsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Arne Håkansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Erik Ambjörnsson ran back to his position shaking his head. If Kalle Ahlerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Vindeln IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kattarp IK were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kalle Ahlerot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kalle Ahlerot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Villiam Ennegren was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
