Dag Dalgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Dahlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Manfred Wik was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 17 minutes had been played. Lysvik's Karl-Magnus Lägdin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Äspered. 26 minutes into the match, Äspered's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Björklund came free, but Dag Dalgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Wallin charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Wallin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Äspered was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Wallin to maneuver through the defense. After 31 minutes, Helge Gustafsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lysvik and the Äspered players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute Kurt Dahlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dag Dalgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Äspered players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lysvik were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronny Ståhlberg made a kick off. If Kurt Dahlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dag Dalgren made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Kurt Dahlman sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Lysvik's Hugo Björklund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dag Dalgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kurt Dahlman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kurt Dahlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lysvik's goalkeeper Erland Beckeman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75thth minute of the game Hugo Björklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Äspered's Dag Dalgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lysvik's Helge Gustafsson got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Helge Gustafsson off the ground. The supporters of Äspered booed when Lysvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Gustafsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Per-Oskar Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes Lysvik got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Magnus Lägdin. Kurt Dahlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Dalgren having to interfere. If Kurt Rosendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Äspered getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Per-Oskar Gustavsson hit a great ball. Valentin Isaksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kurt Dahlman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dag Dalgren made a huge save. If Valentin Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
