Christer Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Axel Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Olov Ålberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bergshamra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ytterhogdal the free kick. A collision led to Bergshamra getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Olov Ålberg hit a great ball. Christer Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo-Erik Ivarsson in the 12th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Eliasson got free with Joakim Skytt in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Bergshamra's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Axel Lindgren came free, but Christer Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ytterhogdal's Joakim Skytt got control of the ball when Henry Eliasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henry Eliasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joakim Skytt was a little too slow when Oscar Melin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo-Erik Ivarsson in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Mårtensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Karl-Axel Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo-Erik Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karl-Axel Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Mårtensson having to interfere. Sebastian Gregersson 's late challenge caught a Bergshamra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Gregersson helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastian Gregersson hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Oscar Melin made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Melander during the 51st minute. The referee ordered Sebastian Gregersson off the ground. The supporters of Bergshamra booed when Ytterhogdal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Gregersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Melin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Skytt having to interfere. Joakim Skytt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Eliasson in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to Ytterhogdal getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eric Rönn hit a great ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Oscar Melin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bergshamra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Melin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Karl-Axel Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ytterhogdal's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Axel Lindgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Mårtensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th match minute, Bergshamra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrik Dalkvist to maneuver through the defense. Christer Mårtensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo-Erik Ivarsson in the 87th minute of play. Ytterhogdal's Karl-Axel Lindgren got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Melin in the 91st minute of play forced Ytterhogdal's goalkeeper Joakim Skytt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ytterhogdal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
