The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ivan Norberg fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glommen's protests and gave Ivan Norberg a yellow card for diving instead. Martin Esbjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15thth minute of the game Tobias Borre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glommen's Vilhelm Mårtensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vilhelm Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Esbjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Glommen's Vilhelm Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Borre in the 19th minute of play. Martin Esbjörnsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Vilhelm Mårtensson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 21 played minutes Glommen got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Norberg. When Grangärde FK's Tobias Borre in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glommen's goalie prevented a goal. Martin Esbjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tobias Borre came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Grangärde FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Borre couldn't finish the play. In the 37th match minute, Glommen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Hammarbäck to maneuver through the defense. Grangärde FK's Bertil Åberg got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Göran Billberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Borre was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Pålsson during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Glommen got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Pålsson. In the 55th minute Martin Esbjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Borre struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Vilhelm Mårtensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grangärde FK. Arne Näver took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vilhelm Mårtensson. Glommen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match, Göran Billberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valentin Höijer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Billberg in the 67th minute of play forced Grangärde FK's goalkeeper Valentin Höijer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Borre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Mårtensson having to interfere. Vilhelm Mårtensson came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grangärde FK's Martin Esbjörnsson. But to his dismay, Martin Esbjörnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kenneth Säf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Grangärde FK's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Billberg came free, but Valentin Höijer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilhelm Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenneth Säf struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Glommen's Göran Billberg got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tobias Borre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göran Billberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Valentin Höijer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grangärde FK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Glommen for a fine match.
