Jimmy Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Blomberg in the 7th minute of the match. When Kent Bammerman came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Djursholm FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Bammerman couldn't finish the play. Djursholm FF's Matthias Lekberg got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kent Bammerman struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Sven-Ove Elg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Djursholm FF. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustav Blomberg in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Wallander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hammerdal BF's Gustav Blomberg got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Kristian Delin made a precise shot to the right of Jimmy Wallander. Djursholm FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Stenberg during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Djursholm FF getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Emil Stenberg hit a great ball. Jimmy Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Delin in the 41st minute of play. Sven-Arne Björkkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Arne Björkkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 45 minutes into the game, one of Hammerdal BF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustav Blomberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Hammerdal BF booed when Djursholm FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Gustav Blomberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammerdal BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Blomberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Djursholm FF's Jimmy Wallander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Djursholm FF from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Hammerdal BF's zone, Matthias Lekberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Ove Elg came out of the goal and Matthias Lekberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Hammerdal BF's John Bagge got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, Hammerdal BF's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Lekberg came free, but Sven-Ove Elg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Kent Bammerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Djursholm FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Bammerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Ove Elg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 79 minutes, Helge Markusson mouthed his way into the referee's book.
