Adrian Grep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Erik Frisk having to interfere. Knut Hansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Axel Sjöström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Knut Hansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddie Finman hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Gabriel Nord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Axel Sjöström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Hansson in the 45th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddie Finman to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Erik Bivall during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a left leg Sven-Erik Frisk saved Rörvik RK from getting behind. After 68 minutes, Stefan Gallin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rörvik RK and the Gästrike-hammarby IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gästrike-hammarby IF booed when Rörvik RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Gallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Nord's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Erik Frisk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Gästrike-hammarby IF booed when Rörvik RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesper Tinglöv missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 79 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Sven-Erik Frisk right hand side. Sven-Erik Frisk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Grep in the 84th minute of play. If Gabriel Nord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriel Nord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sven-Erik Frisk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lennart Ström kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Karl-Axel Sjöström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Finman in the 94th minute of play. Freddie Finman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Axel Sjöström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The Rörvik RK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rörvik RK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
