Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gånghester's Jens-Åke Rudberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jens-Åke Rudberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Mårten Asserlind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harry Adelsköld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Martin Alberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Jens-Åke Rudberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Asserlind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Alberg came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Simlångsdalen's Erik Magnusson. But to his dismay, Erik Magnusson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 20 played minutes Gånghester got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Carlberg. If Harry Adelsköld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gånghester's Martin Alberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Brodin in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Aleksander Carlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gånghester's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Carlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viggo Brodin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Alberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Aleksander Carlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jens-Åke Rudberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harry Adelsköld made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Harry Adelsköld fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Martin Alberg, passed just outside the right post. If Viggo Brodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Esbjörn Högström fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gånghester's protests and gave Esbjörn Högström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gånghester's Esbjörn Högström got a free kick in the 60th minute. The supporters of Simlångsdalen booed when Gånghester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esbjörn Högström didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Adelsköld in the 64th minute of play forced Gånghester's goalkeeper Martin Alberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Magnusson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Mårten Asserlind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Rudberg in the 69th minute of the match. If Viggo Brodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viggo Brodin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Martin Alberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mårten Asserlind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Carlberg in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Adelsköld in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Alberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Jens-Åke Rudberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute Jens-Åke Rudberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Asserlind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Strömbom took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mårten Asserlind. Simlångsdalen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Viggo Brodin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Jens-Åke Rudberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mårten Asserlind was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
