After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Lars Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Särö's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Mattsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Alin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lars Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Ronny Zachrisson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Kode's Samuel Alin. Samuel Alin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Särö's zone, Kjell Benet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Arenius came out of the goal and Kjell Benet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lars Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Samuel Alin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Kode's goalkeeper Samuel Alin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronny Zachrisson. Kode's Samuel Alin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Mattsson in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Tor Biörnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell Benet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Ronny Zachrisson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kode's zone, Lars Mattsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Alin came out of the goal and Lars Mattsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronny Zachrisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kode's zone, Lars Mattsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Alin came out of the goal and Lars Mattsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Jerry Myhr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Alin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Zachrisson in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Kode getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Martin Hökkvist hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the game, Tor Biörnberg lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Håkan Arenius. If Tor Biörnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Särö's Håkan Arenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Benet in the 89th minute of play. Samuel Alin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Mattsson in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Jerry Myhr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Kode's Martin Hökkvist got a free kick in the 94th minute.
