Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lars Mattsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Ronny Zachrisson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karlholmsbruk's Roger Vennerdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karlholmsbruk's Johan Fastesson got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Kuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Karlholmsbruk booed when Särö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Hallgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Kuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronny Zachrisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 19 minutes, Lars Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Särö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Mattsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Staffan Hake hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 21 minutes, Ronny Zachrisson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Särö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Zachrisson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Håkan Arenius was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Melker Norberg. David Kuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johan Fastesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Karlholmsbruk's Helge Dahlgren got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute of the match Oscar Sundberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Vennerdal skillfully saved the ball. In the 35th minute, Lars Mattsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Särö fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Kuse was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Särö's goal looked a bit too open when David Kuse came free, but Håkan Arenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Håkan Arenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Kuse in the 53rd minute of the match. Johan Fastesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Håkan Arenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, one of Karlholmsbruk:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Karlholmsbruk. The goalkeeper, Roger Vennerdal, was totally fooled by Särö's Oscar Sundberg, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Roger Vennerdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johan Fastesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Håkan Arenius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Lars Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Särö's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Mattsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Vennerdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ronny Zachrisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Oscar Sundberg from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Roger Vennerdal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Roger Vennerdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Mattsson's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Ronny Zachrisson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Roger Vennerdal made a huge save. The Särö players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
