The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rengsjö. After 11 played minutes Rengsjö got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Överman. 13 minutes into the game, Eric Dalberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Joakim Hultman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marc Stenström charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc Stenström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Rengsjö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Stenström to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Albert Kullander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tage Qvalfeldt was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Rengsjö's Tage Qvalfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Kullander in the 25th minute of play. Joakim Hultman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Örnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes of play, Rengsjö's Eric Dalberg made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joakim Hultman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eric Dalberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Joakim Hultman made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Uttran FK's Fritz Vennerlund got a free kick in the 34th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Stig Holm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tage Qvalfeldt. Rengsjö's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig Holm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Uttran FK's zone, Eric Dalberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Hultman came out of the goal and Eric Dalberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Eric Dalberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Joakim Hultman however easily saved by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when David Örnberg made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Ove Biörkquist during the 51st minute. The supporters of Rengsjö booed when Uttran FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Ove Biörkquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Örnberg in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joakim Hultman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 played minutes Uttran FK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Biörkquist. Rengsjö's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bengt-Arne Haegg in the 84th minute. Eric Dalberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Örnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Hultman having to interfere. If Albert Kullander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rengsjö were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uttran FK for a fine match.
