Emil Tunberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olov Sandberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Tunberg ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tage Bergsten in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Algot Sefastsson saved Linderöd BK from getting behind. After 10 played minutes Rockneby got a freekick which was hit by Einar Igelström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Eklund in the 12th minute of play forced Rockneby's goalkeeper Olov Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Bergsten in the 13th minute of play forced Linderöd BK's goalkeeper Algot Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morgan Jonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Sefastsson having to interfere. Algot Sefastsson made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Tobias Ivarsson sent off a good shot on target. After 30 played minutes Linderöd BK got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Eklund. After 31 played minutes Rockneby got a freekick which was hit by Anders Åberg. When Elof Lundqvist fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rockneby's protests and gave Elof Lundqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Elof Lundqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Linderöd BK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Sture Tinglöv hit a great ball. If Tage Bergsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Rockneby got a freekick which was hit by Einar Igelström. After 45 played minutes Rockneby got a freekick which was hit by Einar Igelström. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Morgan Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Tobias Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algot Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Tage Bergsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rockneby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tage Bergsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Linderöd BK's Algot Sefastsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Bergsten in the 90th minute of play. Tobias Ivarsson struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Algot Sefastsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rockneby. Rockneby's Tobias Ivarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rockneby were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
