The goalie picked down the ball without great difficulties. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Georg Månsson during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Finja IF's Georg Månsson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Bo-Erik Jonasson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Finja IF's Ernst Odman. Ernst Odman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Edwin Jonsson fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Älvsjö FK's protests and gave Edwin Jonsson a yellow card for diving instead. Ingvar Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Billvall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Billvall in the 47th minute of play forced Älvsjö FK's goalkeeper Ingvar Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timmy Billvall to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Bo-Erik Jonasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Finja IF's Ernst Odman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 53rd minute, Lennart Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingvar Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Billvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th match minute, Älvsjö FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Bäcklin to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute of the match, Lucas Tönnberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ingvar Sandberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 69 minutes into the game, Finja IF's Lucas Tönnberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ingvar Sandberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When Jarl Kleen came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Älvsjö FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarl Kleen couldn't finish the play. After 77 minutes of play, Finja IF's Lucas Tönnberg made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingvar Sandberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Staffan Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Bo-Erik Jonasson put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ernst Odman. The Älvsjö FK fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Älvsjö FK's Bo-Erik Jonasson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Tönnberg got free with Ingvar Sandberg in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jarl Kleen struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ernst Odman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Älvsjö FK.
