Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Allan Falck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Bertil Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Nässén's late challenge caught a Käringön's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Nässén helped the player get up and apologised. Robert Nässén hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Ingemar Strömqvist sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Björneborg's Bertil Fredriksson didn't even have to move. 0-1 became the score in the 17th minute when Allan Falck elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Björneborg's Carl Hagberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Björneborg's Kjell Helberg got a free kick in the 31st minute. Bertil Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Stålberg in the 33rd minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Björneborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Helberg to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes Björneborg got a freekick which was hit by Dag Hedin. Allan Falck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mårten Stålberg struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Bertil Fredriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Käringön. A nice corner shot did that Ingemar Strömqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bertil Fredriksson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carl Hagberg to make the kick off. Allan Falck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marko Kuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Hagberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Staffan Hök's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marko Kuse was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Staffan Hök put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marko Kuse. Marko Kuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Hagberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Käringön booed when Björneborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Hedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Björneborg getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ivan Mårtensson hit a great ball. After 79 minutes of play, Björneborg's Carl Hagberg made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marko Kuse was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Björneborg's Olov Julin got a free kick in the 85th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Mårten Stålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Käringön's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mårten Stålberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Staffan Hök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Käringön's goalkeeper Marko Kuse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Björneborg fans cheered their team off the field, for while Käringön had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
