The Ekshärad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludwig Pettersson should have stopped the shot. In the 48th minute Vilhelm Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludwig Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Holger Unesson made a kick off. Nils Rosén thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ludwig Pettersson, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 0-3. In the 55th match minute, Ekshärad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Björck to maneuver through the defense. Ludwig Pettersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Unesson in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Ekshärad got a freekick which was hit by Mark Hökqvist. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Holger Unesson in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludwig Pettersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Vilhelm Öberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilhelm Öberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holger Unesson in the 77th minute of play forced Ekshärad's goalkeeper Ludwig Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holger Unesson in the 91st minute of play forced Ekshärad's goalkeeper Ludwig Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Mark Hökqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ekshärad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The Ekshärad supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stenkullen's performance. The match ended with a win for Stenkullen.
