Jan-Ove Pålsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Rune Klementsson's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Holger Unesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Östlund having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Holger Unesson to make the kick off. When Christoffer Nyberg fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stenkullen's protests and gave Christoffer Nyberg a yellow card for diving instead. Christoffer Nyberg hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Töllsjö IFK's Ture Norström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jan-Ove Pålsson but with some difficulty. When Stenkullen's Holger Unesson in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jan-Ove Pålsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Holger Unesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malcolm Östlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play.
