Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sven-Ove Alefors started the match with the kick off. If Patrik Hedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 minutes of play, Sigtuna IK's Daniel Brun made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Åke Sundström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tony Ivarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jan-Åke Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Tony Ivarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Sven-Ove Alefors who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sigtuna IK's Daniel Sjöberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan-Åke Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Brun in the 24th minute of play. Patrik Hedin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Daniel Sjöberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo Nordin during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes Sigtuna IK got a freekick which was hit by Bo Nordin. After recieving a nice pass, Altersbruk FF's Olof Bergendahl tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Sigtuna IK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Alefors came free, but Daniel Sjöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Olof Wallengren kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 49th minute Daniel Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Altersbruk FF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sigtuna IK were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Brun to make the kick off. Tony Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Sundström having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Altersbruk FF got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Hedin. If Sven-Ove Alefors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Brun might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Åke Sundström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Brun ran back to his position shaking his head. Malcolm Skräddare hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Daniel Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Alefors in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Altersbruk FF booed when Sigtuna IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Albohm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrik Hedin struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Daniel Sjöberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altersbruk FF. Sigtuna IK's Daniel Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Alefors in the 84th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Sigtuna IK got a freekick which was hit by Göran Hökkvist. 89 minutes into the match, Tony Ivarsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Åke Sundström. Altersbruk FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tony Ivarsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The Altersbruk FF fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Altersbruk FF's Patrik Hedin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sigtuna IK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
