In the 25th minute of the match Urban Månsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Sjöberg skillfully saved the ball. In the 33rd minute Daniel Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Thidén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Brun in the 34th minute of play forced Bunkeflostrand's goalkeeper Emil Thidén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sigtuna IK's Daniel Brun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emil Thidén. That made the score 1-2 after 77 minutes of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sigtuna IK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
