If Torsten Biörnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charlie Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Biörnberg in the 10th minute of the match. Hans Hernström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Lindman, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Arman Almkvist hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Lyckeby BK's Hans Hernström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Lindman in the 15th minute of play. Bengt-Arne Utter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Charlie Fredriksson made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Patric Rosén put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hans Hernström. After 30 minutes, Sven-Arne Ahlkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vattholma FF and the Lyckeby BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Sven-Arne Ahlkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Hernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Rosén in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lyckeby BK's Folke Dalberg got a free kick in the 36th minute. Vattholma FF's Sven-Arne Ahlkvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lyckeby BK. After a rather tough play, Vattholma FF's Sven-Arne Ahlkvist got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Charlie Fredriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mats Bjurström in the 44th minute. Charlie Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Biörnberg in the 45th minute of the match. The Lyckeby BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vattholma FF were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patric Rosén to strike the kick off in the second half. Hans Hernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patric Rosén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredric Lindman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Hans Hernström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arman Almkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Arne Utter in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charlie Fredriksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 played minutes Vattholma FF got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Thedin. When Lyckeby BK's Torsten Biörnberg in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vattholma FF's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patric Rosén got free with Hans Hernström in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patric Rosén in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Hernström saved Lyckeby BK from getting behind. Charlie Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Biörnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Vattholma FF's zone, Torsten Biörnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie Fredriksson came out of the goal and Torsten Biörnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Arman Almkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95thth minute of the game Torsten Biörnberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vattholma FF's Charlie Fredriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vattholma FF's goalkeeper Charlie Fredriksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vattholma FF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
