Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ralf Klint started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Folke Hermansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gilbert Lundberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the game, Edvard Andreasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gemla RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holmsund IF the free kick. Alvin Alebeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Holmsund IF's Erling Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Klint in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Holmsund IF got a freekick which was hit by Folke Hermansson. After a defensive mix-up in Gemla RK's zone, Michael Ahlbeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Lundberg came out of the goal and Michael Ahlbeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ragnar Morat got free with Erling Fredriksson in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ragnar Morat put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Erling Fredriksson. A collision led to Holmsund IF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alvin Alebeck hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Alvin Alebeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holmsund IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvin Alebeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Lundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the match, Holmsund IF's Alvin Alebeck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilbert Lundberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvin Alebeck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Harry Åkesson's late challenge caught a Holmsund IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Åkesson helped the player get up and apologised. Harry Åkesson hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Alebeck in the 58th minute of play forced Gemla RK's goalkeeper Gilbert Lundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Michael Ahlbeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holmsund IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Ahlbeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvin Alebeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gilbert Lundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Ahlbeck got free with Gilbert Lundberg in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 67 minutes, Alvin Alebeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holmsund IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvin Alebeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Jimmy Söderqvist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gilbert Lundberg, passed just outside the right post. When Gemla RK's Ragnar Morat in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Holmsund IF's goalie prevented a goal. When Ragnar Morat came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Gemla RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ragnar Morat couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Gemla RK's Harry Åkesson got a free kick in the 77th minute. Gilbert Lundberg made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Michael Ahlbeck sent off a good shot on target. Alvin Alebeck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Lundberg having to make a save. In the 84th match minute, Gemla RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Gemla RK's zone, Alvin Alebeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Lundberg came out of the goal and Alvin Alebeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Gemla RK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Michael Ahlbeck fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Gemla RK's zone, Alvin Alebeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Lundberg came out of the goal and Alvin Alebeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilbert Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Alebeck in the 96th minute of the match. The Gemla RK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Holmsund IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Holmsund IF.
