Mathias Hägglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Marcus Skarkman might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Greger Rosin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus Skarkman ran back to his position shaking his head. Mathias Hägglund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils-Åke Nordgren's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 46th match minute, Trosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Larsfelt to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute of the match Östra Ljungby BK got a corner. Trosa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arman Västlund ran over to the corner to take the kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
