Roger Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Duset in the 15th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Ivan Asplund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Asplund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Rickard Karlberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 33rd minute, Holger Norberg made a precise shot to the right of Roger Lundberg. Östansjö's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Joseph Moberg's late challenge caught a Östansjö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joseph Moberg helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Hermansson in the 91st minute of play forced Alfta IFK's goalkeeper Rickard Karlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Östansjö booed when Alfta IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfta IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Erik Hermansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Alfta IFK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
