Kälarne RK's Ludvig Cane got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12thth minute of the game Kevin Kjellberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Östansjö's Roger Lundberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th match minute, Östansjö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Malmberg to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennart Nilsson during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Östansjö getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Lennart Nilsson hit a great ball. Sven-Erik Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Kullgren having to interfere. Roger Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvig Cane in the 24th minute of the match. Kevin Kjellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Roger Lundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Sven-Erik Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Asplund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Anton Kullgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Edward Lundblad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kälarne RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Östansjö the free kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Kjellberg to make the kick off. Ivan Asplund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Kullgren having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Östansjö's Villiam Holm got a free kick in the 65th minute. The long shot by Jim Häger in the 66th minute really tested Roger Lundberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 71st minute Kälarne RK were awarded a corner. Jim Häger went to the cornerflag to take it. Ivan Asplund struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Anton Kullgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Östansjö. Edward Lundblad got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 81 minutes into the game, Sven-Erik Hermansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Anton Kullgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sven-Erik Hermansson struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Anton Kullgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Östansjö. 97 minutes into the match, Kälarne RK's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Asplund came free, but Anton Kullgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kälarne RK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
