When Lars Danielsson came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Palm Green fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Danielsson couldn't finish the play. Ivar Eklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charles Sandström went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Lars Danielsson came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Palm Green fans jumped to their feet. Ivar Eklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palm Green. 12 minutes in the game, Christopher Frisck fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marko Enström having to interfere. Lars Danielsson took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivar Eklund. Ivar Eklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Charles Sandström notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Oxelösund BK's Ivar Eklund. Ivar Eklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivar Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Oxelösund BK's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Danielsson came free, but Ivar Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Sandström in the 31st minute of play forced Oxelösund BK's goalkeeper Ivar Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Danielsson scored 0-4 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivar Eklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Charles Sandström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivar Eklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. If Lars Danielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivar Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Sandström in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Palm Green were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles Sandström to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Frisck in the 51st minute of play forced Palm Green's goalkeeper Marko Enström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Danielsson struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ivar Eklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palm Green. With his leg Ivar Eklund managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Palm Green's Lars Danielsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Charles Sandström might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Eklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles Sandström ran back to his position shaking his head. Charles Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Eklund having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Lars Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palm Green's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Danielsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Eklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivar Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Sandström in the 68th minute of the match. Marko Enström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Kråk in the 71st minute of the match. Marko Enström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Frisck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivar Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Sandström in the 78th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Palm Green's Ivar Eklund threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Charles Sandström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lars Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ivar Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Casper Vennersten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marko Enström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
