Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peder Brander started the match with the kick off. Mats Sandwall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdemar Hedbom in the 5th minute. Kent Termander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Granberg in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Fredrika FF's Peder Brander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mats Sandwall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peder Brander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Sandwall having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Lindesberg's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Brander came free, but Mats Sandwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Sandwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Brander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mats Sandwall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Axel Lennartsson in the 26th minute. The supporters of Fredrika FF booed when Lindesberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Tolsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilhelm Hellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Granberg took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kent Termander. Kent Termander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Peder Brander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Sandwall having to interfere. The supporters of Fredrika FF booed when Lindesberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Enegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Lindesberg's goalkeeper Mats Sandwall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdemar Hedbom. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vilhelm Hellqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jan Granberg made a precise shot to the right of Kent Termander. Fredrika FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Jan Granberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdemar Hedbom in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mats Sandwall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Valdemar Hedbom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mats Sandwall was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Kåre Rydelius sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Kent Termander threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Kåre Rydelius this time. Vilhelm Hellqvist struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Kent Termander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lindesberg. Lindesberg's Mats Sandwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Brander in the 75th minute of play. If Peder Brander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Granberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Termander having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Jan Granberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lindesberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Granberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilhelm Hellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Termander having to interfere. Jan Granberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lindesberg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
