Karl-Åke Kellberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Gert Brandt made a huge save. Karl-Åke Kellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Brandt having to interfere. Oliver Eklund was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Oliver Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Staffan Söderström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Åke Kellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gert Brandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Åke Kellberg's late challenge caught a Harmånger's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Åke Kellberg helped the player get up and apologised. When Claes Wållander fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandhult's protests and gave Claes Wållander a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sandhult getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Claes Wållander hit a great ball. Robert Apelqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Snell having to interfere. Gert Brandt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandhult. Sandhult's Torbjörn Alebeck shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gert Brandt but with some difficulty. Claes Wållander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karl-Åke Kellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver Eklund in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gert Brandt saved Harmånger from getting behind. When Michael Hellgren fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandhult's protests and gave Michael Hellgren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Michael Hellgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Robert Apelqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute of the match Mattias Hedvall shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gert Brandt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Harmånger's zone, Oliver Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert Brandt came out of the goal and Oliver Eklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 minutes of play Harmånger's Robin Hydén was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 75th match minute, Harmånger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Hydén to maneuver through the defense. Gert Brandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Kellberg in the 77th minute of play. Jens-Ove Snell made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Robert Apelqvist sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Oliver Eklund notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Harmånger's Gert Brandt. Gert Brandt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gert Brandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Kellberg in the 89th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Staffan Söderström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harmånger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandhult the free kick.
