When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Jim Hamberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jens-Ove Snell to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Wahlström during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Kirten getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gert Wahlström hit a great ball. Jens-Ove Snell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jim Hamberg's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Jim Hamberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Ove Snell was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Gert Wahlström was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 52nd minute, Gert Wahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmund Esbjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Eklund in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Jim Hamberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmund Esbjörnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Sandhult's Oliver Eklund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edmund Esbjörnsson. Edmund Esbjörnsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. If Malcolm Ingemarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. With a little luck, FC Kirten's Edmund Esbjörnsson got control of the ball when Karl-Åke Kellberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Hubert Lind notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sandhult's Jens-Ove Snell. Jens-Ove Snell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jens-Ove Snell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert Lind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Åke Skräddare charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 90 minutes of play FC Kirten's Karl-Åke Skräddare was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 91st minute, Karl-Åke Skräddare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle went the supporters of Sandhult were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC Kirten side.
