The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gottfrid Wennersten to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörgen Västberg got free with Karl-Johan Dahlberg in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Georg Arhenius received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lars Nordal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
