Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Emanuel Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Askersund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Berggren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kälarne fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Lennart Gunnarsson went to the wrong direction when Roger Tingelholm was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Jon Lindsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hampus Böcklund in the 13th minute of the match. Emanuel Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lennart Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If John Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emanuel Berggren came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Askersund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Berggren couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute, Hampus Böcklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jon Lindsten was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 43rd minute Hampus Böcklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Lindsten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Gunnarsson having to interfere. The Askersund players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kälarne were winning 0-1.

Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Kälarne's Hampus Böcklund in the 52nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jon Lindsten was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Askersund through an amazing save. In the 55th minute, John Isaksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lennart Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Granberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Hampus Böcklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Emanuel Berggren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart Gunnarsson. Kälarne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Berggren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 66th minute, Staffan Åhlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennart Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Isaksson in the 68th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Uno Klint was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Askersund's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kälarne the free kick. After 74 played minutes Askersund got a freekick which was hit by Uno Klint. 75 minutes into the match, Kälarne's Dick Wästerberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 81st minute, John Isaksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lennart Gunnarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. John Isaksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kälarne's Helge Biörnberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Helge Biörnberg off the ground. In the 92nd match minute, Kälarne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Biörnberg to maneuver through the defense. Lars Ånger did an outstanding performance 94 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-1 to the right of an irritated Lennart Gunnarsson in the goal. There was no doubt that Askersund were the better team. Askersund's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
