Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stig Fagrell took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute Stig Fagrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wictor Hedlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linus Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Stig Fagrell came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Huskvarna IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Fagrell couldn't finish the play. Björn Vennerström's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Birger Böcklund - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 19th minute. Wictor Hedlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Fagrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 29 minutes of play, Marieholm FF's Sverker Alström made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Birger Böcklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Björn Vennerström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Huskvarna IK's Birger Böcklund didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torbjörn Bergfeldt in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birger Böcklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 43 minutes, Linus Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huskvarna IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Jönsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Linus Jönsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torbjörn Bergfeldt to strike the kick off in the second half. Wictor Hedlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Jönsson in the 51st minute of play. Stig Fagrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the game, Sverker Alström lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Birger Böcklund. After a rather tough play, Huskvarna IK's Tom Glanselius got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Linus Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huskvarna IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Jönsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Linus Jönsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Hedlund having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Fagrell in the 78th minute of play forced Marieholm FF's goalkeeper Wictor Hedlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Fagrell took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wictor Hedlund. Wictor Hedlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 88 minutes into the match, Stig Fagrell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wictor Hedlund. Marieholm FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig Fagrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 93rd minute Linus Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wictor Hedlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Linus Jönsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Marieholm FF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
