In the 4th match minute, Frövi FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Hybbert to maneuver through the defense. Håkan Ugla was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Stig Fagrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Fagrell in the 13th minute of play forced Frövi FF's goalkeeper Andreas Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stig Fagrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Vidar Gustavsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frövi FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huskvarna IK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Frövi FF's Vidar Gustavsson got a free kick in the 26th minute. Håkan Ugla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andreas Gunnarsson. Frövi FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Frövi FF's Andreas Gunnarsson got control of the ball when Linus Jönsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Melker Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Böcklund having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Frövi FF got a freekick which was hit by Björn Persson. Isak Rosén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Birger Böcklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Linus Jönsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Melker Löfgren made the kick off in the second half. Melker Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Böcklund having to interfere. Benjamin Forsberg charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Forsberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Isak Rosén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Frövi FF's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Fagrell came free, but Andreas Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Vidar Gustavsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frövi FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vidar Gustavsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frövi FF's Andreas Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Jönsson in the 83rd minute of play. If Stig Fagrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melker Löfgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birger Böcklund having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Huskvarna IK had won after a very even match.
