The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anders Apelqvist during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Peter Vallmark stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Ström's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Anders Karlsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Östen Gernberg in the 8th minute. The supporters of Klövsjö booed when Dikanäs RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Pilblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anders Karlsson made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Östen Gernberg sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Dikanäs RK's Karl-Magnus Pilblad got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Ivar Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute Carl Biörling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Vallmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Dikanäs RK's Alf Ström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Vallmark made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Dikanäs RK's Anders Karlsson got control of the ball when Östen Gernberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Klövsjö getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Henry Almkvist hit a great ball. Carl Biörling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredric Hedman kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Klövsjö's Peter Vallmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Biörling in the 44th minute of play. If Östen Gernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Anders Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Svensson in the 51st minute of play. Alf Ström struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Peter Vallmark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dikanäs RK. Peter Vallmark made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Alf Ström sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Carl Biörling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Klövsjö's Östen Gernberg in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivar Svensson couldn't finish the play. Ivar Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Karlsson having to interfere. Dikanäs RK's Anders Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Östen Gernberg in the 79th minute of play. When Klövsjö's Ivar Svensson in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dikanäs RK's goalie prevented a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anders Karlsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute, Anders Apelqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 98th minute of the match Karl-Magnus Pilblad completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Karl-Magnus Pilblad a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 98 played minutes Dikanäs RK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Magnus Pilblad. The Klövsjö supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dikanäs RK's performance. The match ended with a win for Dikanäs RK.
