Karl Bark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Adrian Arvidsson made a huge save. Karl Bark succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Wennerberg in the 27th minute of play forced Kättilstorp FK's goalkeeper Staffan Siggesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kättilstorp FK's Axel Bergvall in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Umeå BK's goalie prevented a goal. After 33 played minutes Kättilstorp FK got a freekick which was hit by Georg Bäcklin. But to his dismay, Bertil Wennerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 38 minutes, Ingvar Örtendal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kättilstorp FK and the Umeå BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Kättilstorp FK got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Örtendal. If Bertil Wennerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Arvidsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Axel Bergvall showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 42 minute of play. If Karl Bark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Kaxe to make the kick off. The supporters of Umeå BK booed when Kättilstorp FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Damm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertil Wennerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Staffan Siggesson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertil Wennerberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute, Patric Runeberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Bergvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bertil Wennerberg came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Umeå BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertil Wennerberg couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the game, Umeå BK's Adam Kaxe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Staffan Siggesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 87 played minutes Umeå BK got a freekick which was hit by Stellan Fanström. Adrian Arvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Bergvall in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Axel Bergvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Axel Bergvall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kättilstorp FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kättilstorp FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Umeå BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
