Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kevin Springfält got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Diö's goalkeeper Hugo Bengtsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 8 minutes, Kevin Springfält managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Springfält was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Landin in the 11th minute of play forced Diö's goalkeeper Hugo Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nyhammar's Mattias Håkansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Springfält in the 13th minute of play. Kevin Springfält succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Jan-Olof Ahlström might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mattias Håkansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Olof Ahlström ran back to his position shaking his head. When Nils-Åke Finsberg fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diö's protests and gave Nils-Åke Finsberg a yellow card for diving instead. Nils-Åke Finsberg hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Jonathan Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Landin in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Bengtsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roland Landin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Jonathan Abrahamsson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Diö's Hugo Bengtsson. Hugo Bengtsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 45 played minutes Diö got a freekick which was hit by Per-Erik Lindström. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Abrahamsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Jan-Olof Ahlström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Diö booed when Nyhammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Hjortsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Diö's Jon Soned broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niclas Ekegren during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Diö booed when Nyhammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Ekegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jonathan Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Kevin Springfält had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mattias Håkansson. Nyhammar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Springfält was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Diö's zone, Roland Landin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Bengtsson came out of the goal and Roland Landin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Nils-Åke Finsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diö's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Åke Finsberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Håkansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diö's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
