Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as Kalle Lönn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Bengtsson. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Nils-Erik Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slavia Uppsala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Erik Vestlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ian Apelquist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Hugo Bengtsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Hugo Bengtsson managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Slavia Uppsala's Ian Apelquist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Apelquist in the 17th minute of play forced Diö's goalkeeper Hugo Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the match, Ian Apelquist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Bengtsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 23rd minute, Slavia Uppsala's Arvid Brenner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hugo Bengtsson. Hugo Bengtsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Leif Spets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Åke Finsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, Slavia Uppsala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Tidéksson to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Diö's Jon Soned sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leif Spets narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ian Apelquist in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugo Bengtsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ian Apelquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Hugo Bengtsson made a huge save. If Nils-Erik Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Slavia Uppsala's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Springfält came free, but Leif Spets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well placed Kalle Lönn short distance shot in the 41st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. A hard shot 45 in the game by Ian Apelquist from a close distance when the talented Hugo Bengtsson managed to make a qualified save. Diö's players were relieved. After having played for 46 minutes, Nils-Erik Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slavia Uppsala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Erik Vestlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Springfält to make the kick off. The supporters of Diö booed when Slavia Uppsala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Tidéksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Kevin Springfält took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Leif Spets to make any attempt to save it. Hugo Bengtsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kalle Lönn went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Lönn in the 70th minute of play forced Diö's goalkeeper Hugo Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ian Apelquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slavia Uppsala's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Apelquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Bengtsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ian Apelquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Erik Valler during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Per-Erik Valler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Håkan Bergman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian Apelquist in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Bengtsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ian Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Bengtsson having to interfere. Kalle Lönn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Bengtsson having to make a save. Slavia Uppsala walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
