The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Åke Klintæus got free with Konrad Törnkvist in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gustav Kullgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torsten Söderberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sorunda's zone, Roger Johnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Söderberg came out of the goal and Roger Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Gustav Kullgren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Konrad Törnkvist. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 34th minute Roger Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gustav Kullgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustav Kullgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute, Karl-Åke Klintæus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konrad Törnkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell-Arne Rolfsson to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes in the game, Kjell-Arne Rolfsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Torsten Söderberg having to interfere. Roger Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Torsten Söderberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norrfjärden BK. The supporters of Sorunda booed when Norrfjärden BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Wiklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustav Kullgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Törnkvist having to interfere. Konrad Törnkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Åke Klintæus in the 71st minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Evert Alebäck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norrfjärden BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sorunda the free kick. Konrad Törnkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sorunda's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
