After a defensive mix-up in Norrfjärden BK's zone, Olov Holmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konrad Törnkvist came out of the goal and Olov Holmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niklas Vestlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Törnkvist having to interfere. Felix Vallengren charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Vallengren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Norrfjärden BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Vallengren to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Holmgren to make the kick off. Norrfjärden BK's Kjell-Arne Rolfsson got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Olov Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Törnkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konrad Törnkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Evert Alebäck hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Torparcanons IF's Ted Söderlund got a free kick in the 70th minute. Torparcanons IF's Birger Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Rolfsson in the 71st minute of play. Konrad Törnkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Holmgren in the 73rd minute of the match. Kim Jonasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Olov Holmgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Michael Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konrad Törnkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Karl-Michael Rosen came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Torparcanons IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Michael Rosen couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Torparcanons IF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
