Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Grums IK's Orvar Nordgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Herkko Alenius came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Selånger SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herkko Alenius couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Daniel Skröder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Selånger SK's Herkko Alenius got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute Herkko Alenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Hjeltman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Herkko Alenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Herkko Alenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Inge Hjeltman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Grums IK's goal looked a bit too open when Herkko Alenius came free, but Inge Hjeltman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Selånger SK's Fred Gunnarsson got control of the ball when Egil Hjälm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grums IK's Inge Hjeltman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herkko Alenius in the 35th minute of play. Herkko Alenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Cupial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Hjeltman having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herkko Alenius to strike the kick off in the second half. Egil Hjälm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Selånger SK were furious when Ronaldinho van der Aa was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Selånger SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Robert Cupial blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inge Hjeltman having to make a save. Robert Cupial sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Robert Cupial had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Cupial scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inge Hjeltman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fred Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egil Hjälm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Cupial got free with Inge Hjeltman in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the game, Sten Askberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Inge Hjeltman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Grums IK's Orvar Nordgren in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Selånger SK's goalie prevented a goal. Nils Alebeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Inge Hjeltman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Daniel Skröder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selånger SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Skröder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Orvar Nordgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
