Peder Ekegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Lindström in the 17th minute of the match. Conny Örtlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Nils-Emil Lindström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peder Ekegren was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Bergfeldt in the 66th minute of play forced Ljusfallshammar IK's goalkeeper Fritz Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Walter Bergfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ransäter IFK's Peder Ekegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Emil Lindström in the 70th minute of play. Fritz Forsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Bergfeldt in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Conny Örtlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljusfallshammar IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conny Örtlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nils-Emil Lindström came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ljusfallshammar IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Emil Lindström couldn't finish the play. Peder Ekegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Lindström in the 89th minute of the match.
