When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, Mölle's Filiph Lindberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Knut Oblak. Knut Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Ekerot in the 10th minute of play. Knut Oblak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörgen Mellberg in the 14th minute. Knut Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Ekerot, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Magnus Rosin's late challenge caught a Mölle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Mölle got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Bergqvist. Blængur Margrímsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Knut Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Ekerot in the 39th minute of the match. Blængur Margrímsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dag Västerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 48 minutes, Blængur Margrímsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edgar Bergqvist got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 53rd minute, Edgar Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tim Bergsten fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sjödyn FK's protests and gave Tim Bergsten a yellow card for diving instead. Tim Bergsten kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Tim Bergsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Västerstrand having to interfere. Sjödyn FK's Knut Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Mellberg in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Mellberg in the 70th minute of play forced Sjödyn FK's goalkeeper Knut Oblak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Mölle's Per-Åke Hedin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Knut Oblak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Mölle booed when Sjödyn FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blængur Margrímsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mölle's goalkeeper Dag Västerstrand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blængur Margrímsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Västerstrand having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Blængur Margrímsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sjödyn FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Blængur Margrímsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dag Västerstrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
