Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nicklas Hellkvist made the kick off and thus started the match. Johannes Tholsson kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicklas Hellkvist in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anders Engström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Lyckeby's zone, Esbjörn Alrot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Engström came out of the goal and Esbjörn Alrot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bristol city's Esbjörn Alrot got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anders Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esbjörn Alrot in the 16th minute of play. Manfred Kilberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Tholsson in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Tholsson in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manfred Kilberg saved Bristol city from getting behind. When Ernst Rudkvist fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lyckeby's protests and gave Ernst Rudkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lyckeby's Ernst Rudkvist got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Anders Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esbjörn Alrot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Esbjörn Alrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicklas Hellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicklas Hellkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Felix Tholsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Gösta Ahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lyckeby's zone, Nicklas Hellkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Engström came out of the goal and Nicklas Hellkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Bristol city booed when Lyckeby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Rosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esbjörn Alrot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Erik Lidman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lyckeby's Oskar Brander got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Nicklas Hellkvist made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lyckeby's Anders Engström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicklas Hellkvist in the 80th minute of play forced Lyckeby's goalkeeper Anders Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lyckeby's Anders Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicklas Hellkvist in the 81st minute of play. Anders Engström had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Erik Lidman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Lyckeby's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Lidman came free, but Anders Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esbjörn Alrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Engström was a little too slow when Nicklas Hellkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 0-2. When the final whistle sounded Bristol city left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lyckeby.
