Ryssby FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sunhultsbrunn IFK the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Ryssby FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Hellström to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Hellström hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Nilsson in the 12th minute of play forced Sunhultsbrunn IFK's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Marko Gustafsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sunhultsbrunn IFK's Per-Oskar Lang. Per-Oskar Lang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Nilsson in the 22nd minute of play forced Sunhultsbrunn IFK's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sunhultsbrunn IFK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mats Aronsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Ryssby FK's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ryssby FK's corner Mats Aronsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Per-Oskar Lang quite easily take care of the ball. Sunhultsbrunn IFK's Per-Oskar Lang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvar Nilsson in the 25th minute of play. Mats Aronsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Per-Oskar Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Marko Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ryssby FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marko Gustafsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marko Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Oskar Lang having to interfere. Ryssby FK's Alvar Nilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per-Oskar Lang came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ryssby FK's Alvar Nilsson. But to his dismay, Alvar Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bo Örn to make the kick off. Mats Aronsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Marko Gustafsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Oskar Lang was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Bo Örn's late challenge caught a Ryssby FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo Örn helped the player get up and apologised. Bo Örn hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Per-Oskar Lang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mats Aronsson in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Marko Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ryssby FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Gustafsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Oskar Lang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 minutes, Marko Gustafsson made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Sunhultsbrunn IFK's Per-Oskar Lang tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute, Alvar Nilsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Per-Oskar Lang. The goal made the score 0-4. Marko Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Oskar Lang having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Alvar Nilsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sunhultsbrunn IFK's zone, Mats Aronsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Oskar Lang came out of the goal and Mats Aronsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mats Aronsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Per-Oskar Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marko Gustafsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Per-Oskar Lang having to make a save. Sunhultsbrunn IFK's Per-Oskar Lang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvar Nilsson in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunhultsbrunn IFK's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Lang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ryssby FK's Marko Gustafsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Per-Oskar Lang. That made the score 0-5 after 95 minutes of play. The Sunhultsbrunn IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ryssby FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
