Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when David Bokelund got the match started through his kick off. The corner led Fliseryd IF's Axel Hedström to fire away a dangerous shot which Bengt-Rune Forsell despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Patrik Aspengren came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Fliseryd IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Aspengren couldn't finish the play. When Ove Ståhlman fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torhamn's protests and gave Ove Ståhlman a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Torhamn got a freekick which was hit by Ove Ståhlman. Georg Örn struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Bengt-Rune Forsell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fliseryd IF. When Ove Ståhlman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. Axel Hedström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Georg Örn came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bengt-Rune Forsell could save by the left post. Conny Frisk hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Stig-Arne Bratt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bengt-Rune Forsell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Conny Frisk's late challenge caught a Fliseryd IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conny Frisk helped the player get up and apologised. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Bern to strike the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Fliseryd IF got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Aspengren. In the 62nd minute, Georg Örn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Georg Örn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Forsell having to interfere. Bengt-Rune Forsell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Bokelund in the 74th minute of play. Bengt-Rune Forsell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Bokelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Bern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Bokelund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Rune Forsell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Bengt-Rune Forsell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Örn in the 89th minute of the match. Bengt-Rune Forsell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Bokelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
