Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Roger Vennerkvist made the kick off which started today's match. When Vilgot Willig fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fliseryd IF's protests and gave Vilgot Willig a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fliseryd IF's Vilgot Willig got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Östra Ljungby BK's Hjalmar Kilström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Kennet Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Bokelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Georg Örn came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Fliseryd IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Örn couldn't finish the play. Östra Ljungby BK's Kennet Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Bokelund in the 14th minute of play. Georg Örn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Kennet Arvidsson made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Östra Ljungby BK's goalkeeper Kennet Arvidsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Georg Örn. Olov Wester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Håkan Esbjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torbjörn Dalkvist hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Östra Ljungby BK's Olov Wester got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Fliseryd IF got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Aspengren. Olov Wester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Håkan Esbjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Olov Wester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östra Ljungby BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olov Wester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Georg Örn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Bokelund to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Roger Vennerkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Fliseryd IF's goalkeeper Håkan Esbjörnsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olov Wester. Håkan Esbjörnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Vennerkvist in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Vennerkvist in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Håkan Esbjörnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roger Vennerkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Håkan Esbjörnsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. If Georg Örn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kennet Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Bokelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Bokelund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Olov Wester had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Håkan Esbjörnsson. Fliseryd IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olov Wester was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Fliseryd IF's Håkan Esbjörnsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Fliseryd IF from getting a goal against them. Roger Vennerkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Håkan Esbjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
