The tension between the Koler and the Holm FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, one of Koler:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Koler. The referee gave Holm FK a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Henrik Sävström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Koler's Torsten Österberg. 0-1. After having played for 17 minutes, Henric Rudkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holm FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henric Rudkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Koler's Andreas Sundling threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kent Vedholm, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Torsten Österberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viggo Nordkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henric Rudkvist scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Österberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
