Yngve Säf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 minutes, Rickard Lundgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Koler and the Mölnlycke IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rickard Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Lukas Häger suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 14 minutes into the game, Egon Godholm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Koler's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mölnlycke IFK the free kick. Mölnlycke IFK's Gustaf Fredriksson was substituted for Lukas Häger. A collision led to Koler getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Egon Godholm hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Lind in the 18th minute of play forced Mölnlycke IFK's goalkeeper Ivar Kilman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivar Kilman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Vedholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Yngve Säf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Österberg was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Sigvard Ekman lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Koler:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mölnlycke IFK:s goal. Isac Lilja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Torsten Österberg made a huge save. Ture Enström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Torsten Österberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ture Enström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torsten Österberg having to make a save. If Ture Enström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yngve Säf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Torsten Österberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Österberg was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Henrik Heggert capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henrik Heggert really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 44th minute Gustaf Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Österberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torsten Österberg made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Yngve Säf sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isak Lind was the one to do the kick off. Ture Enström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Ture Enström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Koler's Torsten Österberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ture Enström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Isak Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mölnlycke IFK's Ivar Kilman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Mölnlycke IFK from getting a goal against them. Gustaf Fredriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yngve Säf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torsten Österberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Ture Enström put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Torsten Österberg. Torsten Österberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ture Enström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ture Enström struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Torsten Österberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mölnlycke IFK. In the 83rdth minute of the game Ture Enström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Koler's Torsten Österberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Mölnlycke IFK's Isac Lilja in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Koler's goalie prevented a goal. 87 minutes into the game, Henrik Heggert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mölnlycke IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Koler the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isac Lilja in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torsten Österberg saved Koler from getting behind. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Koler's goalkeeper Torsten Österberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Koler's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Fredriksson came free, but Torsten Österberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mölnlycke IFK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
