An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Rosendahl in the 11th minute of play forced Rätan IF's goalkeeper Olov Stephansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Johan Kalfhage's late challenge caught a Glava IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Johan Kalfhage helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Rätan IF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Johan Kalfhage. In the 14th minute, Roy Askestät sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rätan IF's Olov Stephansson didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Rosendahl during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rätan IF booed when Glava IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Rosendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kåre Sjögren in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Bergman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kåre Sjögren in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emil Bergman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Oscar Rosendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Olov Stephansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glava IF's Björn Björnberg got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oskar Hellström in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olov Stephansson saved Rätan IF from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Oskar Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Hellström hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Martin Walroth fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ian Alegren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rätan IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Alegren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Bergman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Rosendahl was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Glava IF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Oskar Hellström hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kåre Sjögren in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Rätan IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kåre Sjögren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Glava IF's zone, Kåre Sjögren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Bergman came out of the goal and Kåre Sjögren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göran Björkdal during the 74th minute.
