Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edwin Almkvist started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ekeby FK's zone, Gilbert Bergqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Möllgren came out of the goal and Gilbert Bergqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 5 minutes, Aleksander Åkerman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekeby FK and the Hunnebostrand players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ekeby FK's Aleksander Åkerman got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ralf Alebeck's late challenge caught a Ekeby FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Alebeck helped the player get up and apologised. Bengt Ståhlman shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Olle Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rudolf Möllgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Ekeby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Bergqvist came free, but Rudolf Möllgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Hunnebostrand's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Almkvist came free, but Fredrik Wallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alf Häger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Möllgren having to interfere. In the 38th minute Alf Häger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Möllgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes Edwin Almkvist rounded Hunnebostrand's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. If Gilbert Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilbert Bergqvist made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hunnebostrand fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ekeby FK a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bengt Ståhlman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hunnebostrand's Fredrik Wallgren. 2-1. Wilhelm Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Wallgren having to interfere. If Alf Häger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gilbert Bergqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hunnebostrand's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Bergqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Möllgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edwin Almkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Wallgren having to interfere. Olle Olofsson hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the game's 73rd minute Ekeby FK's Bengt Ståhlman took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Fredrik Wallgren and thus the score was 3-1. Fredrik Wallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Almkvist in the 76th minute of the match. When Edwin Almkvist came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ekeby FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwin Almkvist couldn't finish the play. Joakim Backman's late challenge caught a Ekeby FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Wallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingemar Stenqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gilbert Bergqvist fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hunnebostrand's protests and gave Gilbert Bergqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 98th minute, Gilbert Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
