When Calle Vibjörnsson came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Assyriska BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calle Vibjörnsson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Bröms in the 23rd minute of play forced Karlsborg FF's goalkeeper Max Christoffersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Beck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Ström having to interfere. Sten Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Beck in the 27th minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Assyriska BK got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Grubb. Assyriska BK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
